RE: [Request] Site Logo
Greetings Animal...,

Your point is what exactly...? Indeed no one ever claimed in this thread that there was not any work placed into the production of the site...., any moron would know that it takes effort and time to make any site. That was not ever in question. My statement and suggestion of closing said thread is purely because the thread is requesting a logo made by one of our team and or site members..., and as far as I know the MyBB Themes team does not and should not by any means support piracy..., to create the logo for said site in question would be an act of support and or endorsement for a site that openly supports piracy. Or is that obvious and plain as day in front of your eyes that it clouds you eyes and disallows you to see the conflict in such a request for the MyBB Themes Team? Enough said!

RE: [Request] Site Logo
Well, you got your wish, since someone closed this thread. Had it been me, I would have deleted your post, Vintagedaddyo. I have no problems with you, but I don't like members attacking others for their opinions. Please try to play nice, or I might delete next time. Thanks! :P

RE: [Request] Site Logo
Daddyo is right, we will not and do not support any forums that contain piracy. That includes making themes or logos for them.

RE: [Request] Site Logo
And I do not support members getting on high horses and attacking others just because they don't agree with them. Anyone that tried to defend the site was attacked, even though that particular person felt all attacks were against him. Poor baby!

This is not about your closing the thread, FFW, which you are in every right to do. Just wanted to make that clear.

Judel, I do not see any members getting uppity with anyone else. This includes Vintagedadyo. From what I read in his posts, he was merely warning others in the thread that the said user's forum supports piracy, therefore we should not support his forum by creating a custom logo for it, nor keep his thread open. According to rule #5 of MyBB Themes, the term defined as "Illegal activity" includes piracy, due to the fact that it is illegal. Also note, that this offense is bannable without warning.

Although the said user did not post links to piracy, (hence, not breaking the rules), but his forum, of what he was requesting a custom logo, supports it, I need not say that this forum will not support him due to the actions of his forum.

Each to his own personal idea of how legal pirating is, but as a team, and as the Staff at MyBB themes, we do not endorse, accept nor aid those who would otherwise be violating Rule #5 for "illegal activity" of the Forum Rules and Guidelines.

Vintagedaddyo is in the right, and has every right to voice his opinion in the public on these matters. Please consider this as Case Dismissed.

Sincerely,
Dr Small
