Vbulltin in my mind has much more potential, there are thousands of mods for it, and some of the sites that use it do really well... For example mmowned.com. They have like 50,000 members.

I used first ever mybb and then gone for vbulletin but still i like mybb for free software.I see most vbulletin themes and mods which are for $$$ and that keeps buyers to buy vb license.
If their are too developers for mybb then it would be number 1
getting paid for work then their would be more help than free
