How do I install a theme on MyBB 1.2.13?

I guess the same way you'd do it on any other version. ACP > Themes > Import!

BTW when did we come out with a 1.2.13? I thought 1.2.12 was it untill 1.4?

And what has changed since will all my themes still work? Or do I have to download 1.2.13 and start designing for 1.2.13 now?

I don't think so.. The announcement says just replace the files, the upgrader isn't even needed. So I guess no template changes.

1.2.13 was just a security update, so it shouldn't have anything to do with themes.

You can install theme on mybb step by step:
1. Upload the folder than contains all the images to the images/ directory of your MyBB forum.
2. Import the XML file. Login to your Admin CP and click on the Templates & Style tab.
3. click on the Import Theme tab.
4. From here you should select the Browse button and find the XML file of the style you downloaded.
5. Your new theme is now active, however unless it's the only theme you have installed it won't be your default theme yet. Click on the Themes tab after you've imported your theme.
6. You should see your new theme. To the right click Options followed by Set as Default.
You can also chose to Force on Users which will mean all of your members will have their personal choice of theme overridden and be shown your new theme.
