 | I have noticed quite a few members register here, just to spam there way to the 4 required posts. So I'm starting the Spam & Get Banned campaign.
It's quite simple really, we would have weekly on/off moderators.
Every week (or decided period of time) we would have an on/off moderator.
For instance let's say Nathangrubb wants the position, he would post in this thread saying he wants the MOTW (Mod of The Week) (Or decided amount of time), and if he qualifies for the position, he would be awarded the position.
At the end of his term, someone new would post for the position, and we would keep doing this every week.
Once everyone who wants the position has applied, we will rotate each week between the selected members.
This will really help to cut down spam.
Who else thinks this is a good idea? |

| Just a notice to members, there have been a few changes on the board.
1) Most noticeable, the forum games section has been removed. This is due to the fact of hardly anyone posting anywhere else but in that section. Now, I'm not against a game or two on the forum, but when it gets to the point of that's generally the most posted to area on the forum, something needs to be done.
2) The MyBB Support section is diminished. I can't support it because I don't know much about it in the technical area, and there are not that many people here willing to help in that area. All support threads have been moved to the Lounge.
3) The Forum Graphic request area has been removed. If I can't keep up with theme requests, how in the world am I supposed to do graphic requests too?!
4) The Competitions forum has been sub-forumed under User Feedback, and the Forum News section has been cleaned out.
5) RobotoWorks has full moderator control over the Lounge and Introduce Yourself sections. (He is a single moderator of those specific forums)
I hope you enjoy the changes.  And as for the 'real' news, I'm looking to hire new staff members to help me out on the forum. If your interested, contact me via PM to discuss it.

| Well, I have decided it was finally time to choose another member for the MyBBThemes Team.
Tomdickandharry has put in a lot of time and effort in learning how to create themes, and putting them out for the community. I know, if he keeps at it, he will keep improving in the future.

| Okay.
I've decided a better way to tackle the corrupted attachment issue, is that if you find a missing / corrupted attachment in a post, (preferably the release threads) you report the post.
If the attachment is from me, I will try to find it on my computer and re-upload it (if I haven't deleted it in the past...) If it is from someone else, you can either report it and I'll contact them, or you can PM them yourself.
As for your own post, release thread, etc, that has a corrupted attachment, you can remove the corrupted attachment and upload a new one.
I'll do my best to fix this issue as speedily as possible for y'all, but you gotta help. |

Labrocca's been moving us to a new server, which is why the forum's been down lately.
Now, we're probably not problem-free, so if you guys find any errors, missing files, etc, could ya please let me know here?

| We are trying to create a rich, vibrant community, In order to do so, we ask that you make a minimum of 10 posts before you can start downloading our themes.
However, we do not permit spammish, or fewly worded posts.
Try to posts thoughtful messages such as "Wow FirefoxWiz, I really like that theme, keep up the good work!" and not "Nice theme!"
We aren't trying to take up your time, by asking you too post thoughtful posts, but merely trying to create a better community.
