I was wondering if the Demo Board was 1.2.9? I want to make sure my themes are all compatible (I read on mybb community that some old themes with an odd if statement don't let you log either in or out and leave a "0" at the top of your forum).
No, the demo board has not yet been upgraded to 1.2.9. However I intend to upgrade it soon, after my grandparents leave.
Please open the demo board again!!

The Demo board was closed because it was too much work to keep up with. Screenshots are enough, I think.
I agree... Demoboards take to much time, space, and bandwidth.
Plus the fact that you have to upload every released theme, etc. And when people's internet doesn't upload very fast...

Yeah, but a demo board would be nice.
It was, at one time, until people signed up and started spamming it. Then of course, it took very long to release a theme, since you had to first upload it and import it on the Demo Board. And when people's uploading is slow... it takes a LONG time!
