Blue_Bulletin theme is compatible with MyBB 1.2.8 by: SloDesignz ( Vintagedaddyo )

Installation:
=========================

1. After downloading the Theme unpack it (with WinRAR for example)

2. Upload contents of "images" into your forums image folder.

3. Upload contents of "inc" folder into your forums "inc" folder.

4. Upload contents of "jscripts" folder into your forums "jscripts" folder.

5. Upload the entire folder called "Blue_Bulletin" into your forums images folder.

6. Go to the Admin Control Panel under Themes > Import

7. Search for the XML File titled "BlueBulletin-theme.xml" in the theme folder found on
your computer and click the Button "Import Theme" this will upload the file from your computer to your forum.

8. Now have fun with your forum!

Excellent work on this one, I hit the wall on a clean install of 1.2.9 though regarding logging in.

Oh sorry, should have been a bit clearer, (and yes this is for the 2nd post so I can grab the 1.2.8 for the functions.php).

Got the patches up to the 1.2.7 and that cleared up everything I've tested so far including mailing confirmation, but still can't log in (although the board says I have - still get the login box top right too).

I promise I will get back with whether the 1.2.8 works on 1.2.9, and if it still has a glitch it's back to staring at code again till something clicks any other input welcome in the mean time and keep those templates comming

Well that was quick same prob, logging in, I'll try a clean install of both (wonder if there's a 1.2.8 lying around i can try it with first)

Is the problem that you can't log in, or you can't log out?

Make sure your cookie settings are correct for your forum.

The problem is logging in, the board confirms login and returns to a non logged in state (nothing wrong with settings trust me on that one).
I've seen a couple of posts on logging out but it's foxing me, read through various function.php's and I just can't put my finger on it.

RE: the above merging - it was a post by the OP that pointed to here from the boards forums for the latest, no harm to anyone but I did at least do what I said and came back after trying it out, but apologies anyway

I can't imagine what would be causing it to not let you log in. Have you tried using a clean functions.php file ?

Yep tried that, but ended up settling for a clean install and DB restore, went for - what theme was it again - oh yes SmoothBlue ;D

Everythings working great so I ain't touching it for a while anyway.

Couldn't figure it out either and I was going cross eyed going through the code.
