This forum seems completely dead, nobody posts in places besides forum games. I think Mybbthemes should make it so people need 3 posts to download any attachments, that's only fair.
But come on, people start posting. If your going to be on the site, might as well contribute, right?
Also, I have some free time to spare so I'll coming every so often making posts.
But the three post rule brings more spam than I can deal with by myself, or I would turn it back on.
I don't think there's very many members here willing to help bring the forum back alive -- and that means posting in different places besides the forum games.
Well all forums go through rough patches, though this one has been very long, and still continues.
You never know, it could spring back to life, or it might just die.
It will die without help. If everyone just says "it's just a rough patch" and no real work is done to help, then yes, it will die.
It can't 'spring back to life' without everyone pulling together and giving a hand. Impossible.
Mybbthemes won't just die, it's way too big of a community, and it's still on top of the search engines when it comes to Mybb Themes. All it needs is more members who post thats all.
Anyway, FF, I sold mybbworks so I was wondering if I can become apart of the themes team, if possible.
But of course.
I will be happy to add you to the team. After I send you the guidelines, of course.
We just need mybb 1.4 that's all. The entire mybb community imho feels weird. Just about every theme author, site admin, and plugin author is waiting for this dang thing to come out. Who wants to do work on something you know will be redone in possibly a few weeks. Although that few weeks has turned into many months....but how much longer?
MybbThemes is a great site...I wouldn't worry about it's longevity. I would host it for years even if no one posted.
Too bad I haven't figured out how to make plugins yet, since there won't be anyone making plugins for 1.2 anymore.
That will be a problem, since I don't see upgrading to 1.4 in the near future...that is unless all my plugins get updated to it. At least now that Lex is back, maybe he will update his, which are a huge chunk of the ones I use.
By the way, Labrocca, we all know you're a guy, so why not update your gender so your icon won't be a question mark? LOL
Has Chris put out any news as to when we may expect the release of 1.4?
