Yupp, that way the forum will look more active then just one member posting a lot.

LOL...he said he doesn't like that. I guess it can go both ways. One member posting a lot or several members only posting a few times. Hmmmm....don't know which I like better.

I think it's better to have 1 member posting a lot, it just shows more dedication, than a few members posting a few.

Sorry, didn't read the whole post. But, what's wrong with that. By making multiple posting accounts, it'll make the forum seem active. I don't know how you try to build your community, but who wants to join a forum with one or two members?

Well, you can't exactly build a forum with people who join, only post once or twice and never come back, either.

And besides, isn't that how all forums start out, with 1 or 2 members? Then a few others hear about the forum, they join, post, get to know eachother, tell others about it, and hopefully before you know it, you have created a wonderful community

It's not that easy Roboto, especially if your running a forum. There are hundreds of them, so you need to make them different than all those other sites.
And maybe if your running a download site, they might not post that much, but if you keep content up, and have something for them to come back for, you'll get active members.
