Well, I did forget about one person, but I didn't really consider him/her a member. Joined my forum and then posted over 100 spam posts with the same exact thing in them. "THANK YOU THANK YOU" about 10 lines of that with links to porn sites. LOL...I certainly wished I had the ability to delete all a member's posts back then. At least I was told a query to get rid of them in the database.
Much simpler now, but yes, I did ban that jerk ASAP!
Yeah, I just remembered about Nick's plugin called Spam Central. You can enter a username in the box and either
1) Delete All Posts
2) Delete User
3) Ban User (Perm)
And you could even delete the posts and the user, delete the posts and ban them, or whatever. After a few fixes I have installed this here, and it works great.

And well, I've not really used MyBB that much to have experience spammers.
On other forum systems you get an option if you want to remove the users posts when you delete the user.

I wouldn't say all hackers are idiots. Just look at the hackers that tried to hack the F.B.I/C.I.A/Government computers. They did get caught, so I guess they're not that smart, but now the people they tried to hack have offered them a very high paying job, using what they know about hacking to make the security of these computer better
So in retrospect they aren't idiots

I guess I should clarify that. All hackers that use their skill to hurt other people and/or destroy their sites are ALL idiots that need a life!!

Egads! You're right. The idiots are the ones that hired them.
There are two kinds of hackers, White Hats and Black Hats. I'm a white hat. White hats secure systems by finding exploits and such, with other words, they are "good" and help people.
Black Hats are people who use the exploits for their own sake and steal money and such with it.
I do however have to admit that I have destroyed for people by hacking, but they deserved it.(Often n00bs and people who mess with others)
And about the thing with hiring hackers.
It's smart. As long as you can trust the hacker. A hacker is the best defense from hackers
Well, that's the major point though, isn't it? If someone tried to hack your site, how can you trust them? Giving them a job is rewarding them for initially doing something that was wrong. I don't believe in rewarding criminals. Punishment is the only thing that should be done to them.
Actually hackers that are caught hacking a high profile database are given 2 option.
A) Rot in jail the rest for the rest of their lives.
B) Help out the people they were trying to hack.
B, in a way is a punishment. Because instead of having fun trying to ruin their DB, he now has to help them make it more secure, which isn't what he initially wanted to do.
