I'd like to ask what's the name of the template used on this site's portal page (the one displaying news posts with replies) and if it's downloadable? Thx.

I think the default theme is called Ice.

Hm, I think you linked me to the theme while I want the homepage's template, if that's possible, so I can post news in a thread-like format that can be commented on my website's homepage. Thx.

The portal template is using the Ice theme. I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about.

The homepage ie: portal.php page would be the same template bro..., just upload the template and activate your portal page in your ACP

Sorry if I'm not making myself clear enough. I'm not familiar with the web development terms, so I might be saying things wrongly.

Basically, I want to have a similar homepage to that of this site (http://mybbthemes.8ez.com/portal.php) where I'm able to post news & announcements. How can I do that?

Ok, thanks, gonna try it. One question though; would I have to make a portal page named portal.php and place it in my forums database? Sorry I'm a complete n00b to this.

Go into your ACP

Forums Control Panel » Board Settings
---Portal Settings

and activate your portal page..., select what forums to pull the content from and viola..., you have the portal up and going.
